Decision
The 2026-05-04 SkyRun annual conference is no longer a project milestone. Joseph confirmed 2026-05-02 evening: "The conference isnt a thing anymore so no need to keep considering it."
What this changes
- Adam Phase 1 milestones M5-M11 (per
ROADMAP.md) — all conference-coupled deadlines are dropped. M8 ("conference talk delivered") is N/A. M9 ("first real Adam-side drafts" — was committed for 5/6 post-conference) no longer has urgency. - No external pressure on getting Adam's brain-only deployment finished by any specific date.
- Adam tenant dead-task issue (5 registered tasks, 0 actual fires) is no longer P0 urgent — it can be addressed when Joseph chooses to focus on Adam, not as a deadline scramble.
What this does NOT change
- Cord's corporate-reimbursement approval (2026-04-29) for Adam's Phase 1 still stands. Just the timeline is open.
- Adam's profile, scope, and the productization vision (
PRODUCTIZATION_VISION.md) all remain valid. - Joseph + Adam's relationship and ongoing collaboration continue.
- The
adam-bd-bootstrappackage is still complete and ready to ship to a fresh Mac whenever Joseph chooses. - Lindsay/Cord/Mora demo is still on Adam's calendar to schedule (was M10 — also conference-coupled, now floating).
How to apply
Future morning briefs / QB ticks / planning conversations:
- DO NOT cite the May 4 conference as a deadline
- DO NOT prioritize Adam-tenant work as urgent due to "conference approaching"
- Treat Adam's broken task firing as a maintenance backlog item, not a P0
- When Joseph asks about priorities, GC is the focus; Adam is opportunistic
